The Atlanta Scholars Kollel Rabbinic Team

The Atlanta Scholars Kollel rabbis hail from all corners of the USA and Israel. We range in ages and talents, but we all share a love of learning and teaching Torah here in Atlanta.

Rabbi Lipschutz leads a number of study groups as well as working on administrative and fund-raising activities for the Kollel. Rabbi Lipschutz, a native of Nashville, joined the Kollel in 1990 and lives in Toco Hills with his wife Rivka and their children. Rabbi Lipschutz was ordained at the renowned Chaim Berlin Yeshiva and holds a bachelors degree in Accounting. Mrs. Rivka Lipschutz holds an MA in education from Georgia State and presently teaches at Temima High School. Rabbi Lipschutz enjoys hiking in North Georgia, Montana, and Wyoming as well as the beaches of South Carolina.

Meyer Meth was born and raised in Baltimore MD. After a whirl-wind world tour, being knighted by the Queen of England, scuba diving off the coast of Bermuda, and climbing Mt. Everest, Meyer decided to settle down and marry a Baltimore girl, Esther. Meyer enjoys ice fishing, recreational knitting, and horseback riding. Just kidding! Meyer was raised in Baltimore, learned in Ner Yisroel of Baltimore, yes, and married Esther, a Baltimore native. Meyer enjoys photography, especially when the subjects are his kids. He is also very musical and plays several instruments. Esther is a teacher and shares musical interests with Meyer. The Meths, and their daughters Shaindy (age 3.5) and Na’ami (age 2) are very excited to join the Dunwoody family!

Rabbi Meyer Meth

A born and bred Baltimorean, Moshe studied in Ner Yisroel for the last 12 years, aside from a 2-year stint in Mir Yerushalayim. (Yes, he’s Meyer’s twin brother and no, they are not identical.) Shortly after his return from Israel, he married Elana (nee Pollock) who needs no introduction to the Atlanta community. Moshe himself is no stranger to the Hills of Toco, having spent many a summer at his cousins, the Goldbergers, on SEED in Dunwoody, and more recently at his in-laws on Bramble Rd. An accomplished musician, Moshe enjoys playing a variety of instruments and can’t wait to share his musical abilities with the Atlanta community. Elana is a mommy by profession and does software development on the side. The Meths are excited to join ASK and the greater Atlanta community with their children, Chanala (3.5) and Yedidya (2) .

Rabbi Moshe Meth

While Moshe was born in Baltimore, he spent much of his childhood right here in Atlanta, and in a flourish of teenage rebellion, went back to Baltimore to study in Yeshiva. Moshe was in Yeshivas Ner Yisroel for the last 14 years, save for one year spent in Mir, Yerushalayim. He is married to Malky (nee Klots) of Toronto, and has two children, Chaim Dovid (3) and Basya (1). He is excited to return to his old stomping grounds , joining ASK and the greater Atlanta community, this time with his wife and kids. Moshe enjoys discussing any topic under the sun and meeting new people.

Rabbi Zachariah Reisch

If you have not heard his voice from down the block, you have not been in town when Aaron is the chazzan. Born and bred in Baltimore, Aaron enjoys singing the praises of his alma mater, Ner Yisroel, where he received his Masters in Talmudic Law. In fact, other than a two-year stint in Jerusalem, Aaron has spent about half of his life studying on the Ner Yisrael campus. His wife, Malka (nee Pransky) is no stranger to Atlanta but is excited to see things from a new perspective. Malka enjoys baking and cooking and has been a playgroup morah for the past few years. They are looking forward to joining the Atlanta community with Shlomo Aryeh (4), Rivka (3), and Tzvi (1).

Rabbi Aaron Ribakow

His wife, Chelsea grew up in New York before moving to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech. Chelsea currently works for Under Armour as a demand planner. When the Rosensteins aren’t running after 3-year-old Rina Malka and 2-year-old Moshe Chaim (Mosie), they enjoy doing puzzles, playing games, and relaxing outdoors.
