Taking a Closer Look

This year, in our Parsha class, we are “zooming in” on specific pesukim (verses), to see the richness and varied nuances of phrases and words, aided by the explanations of our classical Chumash commentators, such as Rashi, Ramban and many others.  As this approach has the potential to turn into a rather long project, this year we are generally sticking to select pesukim from only the first two aliyas of each Parsha.
